Other Projects
Plays
Although I’ve focused on narrative writing in recent years, I have a body of produced and unproduced short and full-length plays. They include comedies, solo shows, a song cycle, a libretto and a series of short children’s plays. For more information about my theatrical work, use the Contact Form, and check out my link at New Play Exchange.
What else am I working on now?
It took me 17 years to write AGAINST THE GRAIN. Some of the projects I had to put aside are now awaiting my attention including –
Incabloc – A memoir of a brother.
My Father’s Faulkner – Where I attempt to read the entire Faulkner oeuvre and try to understand why my father liked him so much. Think Yoknapatawpha meets suburban New Jersey.
Muscle – A natural history of what moves us.
Kindness For/From Strangers – A multimedia project that combines book arts, found poetry, and recycled fundraising materials to create a new generosity.
… And when I really get tired of words, I turn to music, mosaics, book arts, and procrasti-baking.
